Individual Therapy

I believe that a therapy session should feel like a workout, both challenging and rewarding. You have the innate ability to heal and experience growth and my job is to allow the space and tools to tap into your own strengths. I will encourage and challenge you to uncover the truths and tools that are within you to become the best version of yourself. Although sessions with me are productive, I believe that much of the work is done outside of the session when you utilize what you’ve learned and apply it to your lives. If you are ready for a change and ready to do hard work to make this change happen, I will help you along the way.

Couple’s Therapy

Every relationship would benefit from therapy. It doesn’t mean you’re broken or need “fixing”. If you’re seeking therapy for your relationship, that means you care and are ready to explore new ways of being in your relationship. I want to honor that exploration and create an intentional environment of trust and vulnerability. I use a process of facilitating validation, and reflective listening with my couples that change the way they interact with each other. The tools that I provide in couple’s therapy are intended to be utilized outside of the session to change the foundation of communication, and used long after we complete our work together. It it not a secret recipe but it does work. My experience tells me that couples often want to improve their relationship, but were not taught how to listen to each other, and see from the other’s perspective.
